Greetings of peace and joy from CE! We write to cordially invite you to the 2011 Vacation Church School Teachers Training to be held on March 30-31, 2011 at Dr, Francisco R. Reyes Memorial, United Methodist Church, Ascomo, Guagua, Pampanga. VCS 2011 has for its theme We Are the Church Together, which centers on the third focus area of the UMC for the Quadrennium 2009-2012: New Places for New People Strengthening Existing Congregations and Establishing New Ones. We hope every VCS teacher, and every child who attends VCS 2011, will gain a deeper understanding of the Church as the body of Christ, a community of believers dedicated and contributing to the transformation of the world with Christ as head. We hope, too, that they will develop a greater appreciation for the Church and will want to be more actively involved in its life and work as responsible members and effective leaders. Registration fee is One Hundred Twenty Pesos (PhP120.00) per delegate, (PhP 600 per set of four manuals, a songbook with cd, and visual aids.) We hope you will support this endeavor thru prayers and by sending a minimum of 4 delegates in your local church with their beddings.
