To all Khmer Patriots:

“Khmer Pride and Khmer Economic Power”

Please be informed that we’re trying to organize a “boycott” against Eva Airline. We really need your
full support and cooperation. As kon Khmer and consumers, we are tired of being ignored and kicked
around by Eva Air. Eva Air is taking us for granted as loyal customers. We need to restore our Khmer
pride and show our economic power. We need to unite and force Eva Airline officials to change their
NEGATIVE MENTALITY toward us! We need to file a complaint and at the same time stop buying
airline ticket from Eva Airline – until they change. The campaign will not work effectively if we don’t
have the support and cooperation of everyone. Please tell all your friends and family members not to
buy airline tickets from Eva Airline, or you can write a complaint letter to Eva Airline at the following
addresses:

Eva Airline - Los Angeles Office

The article writer has a legitimate complaint to rise, and I thank him for taking the initiative. Khmers
have always been taken advantage of by individuals or companies, even by our own leaders, simply
because we lack a proactive approach in dealing with problems. We brush things aside when it
does not concern us, but little do we ever realize that this serves to perpetuate exploitation, and
this Eva affair is a case in point. We need to stop being complacent about things that matters to
Khmer people, even when we are not directly affected by it.

I personally applaud the writer for making this issue known to KI-Media readers, and KI-Media for
posting it. 7:44 AM

I think the author of the article is right. We should have a Khmer Flight attendant on EVA Airline
since most of our Khmer people fly EVA Airline. The reason is simply to let me know Khmer exists
and this idea will provide employment opportunity for any interest Cambodian would like to have a
profession as flight attendant. It is a great idea and we, Khmer should support each others to
compete in the global market. Two thumbs up from me. 8:02 AM

I agreed with 7:44 Am. I thank KI-Media for posting the article made by Khmer Guardian.
This article concerns all Khmer - our money and our reputation. It's not about a personal problem
or bad customer service.

Cheer! 8:03 AM

Well, now everyone should just go to EVA airline website and lodge this legitimate complaint. We
don't complain to them they won't know and in this case, just to be fair to the airline, we should
lodge the complaints in large number first before we say they don't care and if they still don't care
about our complaints then we boycott their flight. Anet Khmer 10:18 AM

It’s a wakeup call for Cambodia to ask for direct flights from America, really! I’m sick and tired of
Cambodia relying on Siem airport, Youn airport, and this Taiwan airport for flights from America to
Cambodia and so forth, really! enough already, Cambodia must build large airports like 4000
meters by 60 meters runways in Phom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville, you know! Think and
build big, not small airports, ok! otherwise, Cambodia will depend on Siem and Youn forever if we
don't wake up and build bigger airports, modern infrastructure, etc, etc, ok! Be smarter and wiser,
ok! 11:49 AM

Thank you to the author of the article for raising this issue to the front line. We have to examine the
Chinese mentality at its basic core. The Chinese are never humanistic like the rest of the members
of the humanity. The Chinese mentality is to take and take more from others and then when they
get rich, they start looking down on those who help them get rich. The Chinese are very different
from the Europeans who consider all diverse peoples whom them have business dealings with as
mutually dependent for growth and prosperity. Look at the Chinese garment factories owners in
Cambodia. Those Chinese are absolutely despicable and low on human morality scale. Even after
years of employing the Cambodian workers, there are none of the Cambodian workers who get
trained to be in a position of managerial position. The despicable Chinese continue to make
excuses and look down on the Cambodian workers who help them get rich. It is the same thing
with the Chinese in the Philippines. The Chinese there do not consider that country as a place of
their opportunities and prosperity at all but a place where they can be superior Chinese to the
Filipinos who live like rat in the sewers. How long have the Chinese been settling in Cambodia.
Records say since at least the 2nd or the 3rd century A.D. Yet until this day, the Chinese in
Cambodia continue to remain a mystery to many Khmer people. The only thing the Khmer people
know about the Chinese is that the Chinese always the CHEATS and do not ever give anything back
to the communities that help them prosper. The only way to stop or to avoid the Eva Air
management's looking down on the Cambodian customers is to stop casting the dollar votes for
them. It is time for the Cambodians to wake up and support the airlines that respect them instead. I
support the Cambodian boycotting of Eva Air. 1:00 PM
