Where's the dignity J

Homecoming weekend could have been more
memorable If more dignity was inflicted upon the
ceremony.
An annual event, such as Homecoming, deserves more
stature than it received last Saturday.
Chaos and disorganization plagued the football field
during the crowning of the Homecoming king and queen.
Did time constraints not allow for proper preparation of
this event. i \
Many area high schools present their Homecoming
candidates in a more dignified and orderly fashion.
Promendading onto the football field Is one honor each
of the candidates is granted. However, the lack of dignity
made this ^grandeur event seem so meaningless
The candidates knew prior to walking onto the football
field who was selected as this year's king and queen The
recognition and anticipation were no longer visible.
Representatives from the college were not present to Letter
