and displayed her talents as a gifted singer, writer and producer, working withproducer’s Donald Tavie (Lakeside) and the legendary producer/drummer, NormanConnors. The CD featured smooth jazz favorites Bobby Lyle, Everett Harp and KarenBriggs. Lisa’s debut ushered her into the spotlight, having garnered favorable acclaimand increased popularity throughout Europe. And her star continues to shine with thenew CD “Language of Love”Growing up in Chicago and listening to
Earth Wind & Fire, Sade, Sergio Mendes and Diana Ross,
influenced Lisa’s style and musical taste. Her talents have deep roots inthe Chicago music scene. In the city’s Mecca of jazz and blues, Deveaux was able tohone her craft in local jazz clubs and gain a loyal fan base.
