Abstract
The main aim of this dissertation is to gain an understanding of how interactive informationgraphics can benet the user to understand information more clearly and access informationfaster, gain a deeper knowledge I have studied the psychological factors which help design abetter user interface, the importance of colour, understanding the needs of the user and howsimplicity is the key ingredient of design. The scope of the project is to create a travel applica-tion which is based on interactive information graphics for a better travel planning experiencefor the user. This dissertation also focuses on the problems faced with a lot of textual informa-tion in context with travelling, and how that information can be visually designed and easilyaccessed.
