The acronym ERP represents Enterprise, Resource, Planning. ERP is the name of the process and the name of the baseline of the systems.

What is SAP R/3?

The acronym SAP represents Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing. SAP is both the name of the system and the name of the company that provides the system.
