Art Uber Alles : (Art Above All) Welcome to the underground cultural & musical program! Main purpose of this TV Show is to promote ar sts from various ar s c backgrounds; ar sts insuciently promoted by the media despite the fact that they have a special musical, cultural interest. In a few words, this show oers a dierent view of many ar s c cultures and keeps sa sfying the need of TV viewers by avoiding the established mainstream status. Art Uber Alles made its rst appearance in March 2006 on Greek TV Channel 9. A er comple ng successfully two TV seasons, the show moved to Smart Channel, at the beginning of 2008, and later was hosted by many regional channels in Greece and Cyprus. Soon a er, Stelios Kouloglous cable channel TVXS (h p://www.tvxs.gr/c37) has given the opportunity to Art Uber Alles to complete a series of 400 episodes. It was broadcast every Wednesday at 20:00 as well as on the internet site of Art Uber Alles (h p://www.dailymo on.com/ARTUBERALLES). The show was praised by greek and other European viewers for its quality and its alterna ve program. Art Uber Alles achieved an important goal and was recognized as the only TV show that promoted the alterna ve music scene, by developing an interac ve rela onship with all media, such as magazines, forums, free press, radio, record companies, Internet, concert organizers and others. Art Uber Alles : Con nued Concerning other ar s c acts, the show promotes concerts, video art, theatre, pain ng and photo exhibi ons. Endorsing the idea of interna onal cultural exchange, the show also par cipates ac vely in concertss organiza on. In 2008, the Juno Reactors concert, at the Founda on of the Hellenic World, in Athens, was a ended by 4500 people. Moreover, for the last four years Art Uber Alles coorganizes the Ireon Rock fes val with par cipants such as The Stranglers, Aswad, VEGASTAR, Cyanna, Locomondo, MARSHEAUX, MIKRO, MATISSE, PALYRRIA. Bands and ar sts have a chance to send their demos, which will be evaluated by collaborators of the show. Based upon that evalua on, the ar sts work will be broadcast. Live presenta ons may also take place on scenes like UNDERWORLD, GAGARIN, AN CLUB, MYLOS, KYTTARO, RODEO, TERRA VIBE and many more. Furthermore, a presenta on of the live or studio work of bands is possible. Art Uber Alles remains one of the sponsors of many events and organiza ons that promote culture, like the European Music Fes val, the Juno Reactor live in Athens, the School Wave, the Synch Fes val, The Zeitgeist Movement, thens video art fes val, Mama Africa, THERAPY?, Ba le of the band, Fes val of Music Crea vity and Instruments, the Air guitar Fes val, the Elfentanz Fes val, Barcelona in Athens, Rock Wave, Earth Dance Fes val, The Silk Road, Nomad Fes val, Fields of the Nephilim, 2 Real Rock Fest and many more. In addi on to singers and musicians, the show is also host to technicians as sound engineers, producers, stage designers, animates, light engineers, in other words to the technical part which supports such produc ons. It also provides useful informa on about these professions, keeping in mind the number of people that study these areas of exper ses in various colleges.

Many other projects are spreading during the Art Uber Alles show like Cox Wiggler, Do It Yourself and Blow Up. Cox Wiggler is a short program that oers fresh ideas about comic and anima on arts. Its inten on is to introduce the world of comics and anima on to the TV public with the enthusiasm of an ar st and the informa on that is absent from these arts. It includes two parts. The rst part includes short seminars that help everyone to start crea ng their own comic or anima on. The second part has interviews of famous and established Greek and interna onal ar sts and presenta ons of acts, contests, fes vals and publica ons. Do It Yourself, contains a column of musical engineering in collabora on with SAE Interna onal (School of Audio/Sound Engineering, Electronic Music Produc on Djing). As for Blow Up, as in Michelangelo Antonionis lm, it reveals, an aesthe cally avant-garde program, with con nuous renewal, so as to oer a weekly TV roof to cinema, theatre, ne arts, directors, actors, painters, musicians, video ar sts, street ar sts etc. Short tributes give the opportunity to discover dierent cultural and ar s c groups of special interest. The presenta on of this program is hosted by Vasiliki Kappa under the direc on of Xristos Karakasis. Some interesting personali es who have appeared in this program are Dimitris Athani s (Director), Kostas Xaralas (writer), Vassilis Mazomenos (Director), Marianna Kirakaki (writer), Andreas Mitsou (writer), Giorgos Moraris(Pote), Manthos Santorineos (Intermedia ar st/researcher and professor of Fine Arts of Athens/Director of the Center for Digital Culture FOURNOS).

Dont forget that Art Uber Alles was the latest project of Mysterious Art, founded on October 2005 by Theo Manetas, George Dimitsanos and Kika Giannou. Mysterious Art is specialized in Graphic Design, Video Clips and TV Produc ons. It also has fully opera onal in-house green box which can be used for either lm or s ll photography purposes.
