General Requirement Overview Enterprise resource planning systems or ERP systems integrate all departments and functions across a company onto a single computer system that can serve all departments' particular needs. ERP ensures seamless integration of all the information flowing through the company financial, accounting, human resources, sales, production, inventory, fixed asset and purchasing and customer information. In addition business specific optimization modules can be integrated, analyzing the information flow as a whole and proposing effective optimization steps, leading to more efficient. As depicted from the diagram above, the use of database and application servers to house the <COMPANY> ERP application will be deployed within the internal network (Local Area Network (LAN)) in Jakarta head Office. Information and data can be accessed from the <COMPANY> ERP application and be updated into the Database server. Offline user have own local database which can synchronized to Database server from internet connection. To allow ease and flexibility of access of the <COMPANY> ERP system for other remote users on the VSAT or Internet, a firewall gateway may be required as well as a Web server to be installed in the Data Center. 3.3.2. 4.1. Scope of Work Through our initial understanding of <<Client>> requirements, the following are the scope of work for the implementation of the system. However, further refinement of these requirements may be required after project confirmation. Conduct Business Requirements Study and produce the functional requirements document. Business Requirements Study will include conducting interviews with users to determine business requirement and the related processes to fulfill them. <<Client>> needs to ensure that the appropriate business users and documents are made available for the interviews.

Produce the system design document, which will be based on the functionalities set forth in the functional requirements document. This will be signed off by <<Client>>.

Develop project management schedule in accordance with the agreed functional requirements document.

Design, develop and test the proposed system in accordance with the agreed functional requirements document.

Prepare a detailed test plan and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets the requirements. The test plan is to

4.2.

Standard <COMPANY> ERP Implementation Methodology

4.3.

Proposed Implementation Plan <COMPANY> ERP will be deployed for a pilot branch at <<Client>> before the system is rolled into other mills, estates, and offices. The actual implementation plan of pilot run can only be determined after further discussion on the needs and business processes with <<Client>>. Tentatively 6 months duration of project implementation is proposed with assumption that <<Client>> will prepare adequate resources to join the Steering Committee and task force (i.e. people and hardware inclusive of required network infrastructure), user requirements and relevant input documents in advance prior to the implementation. Any delay in these areas will have additional service cost incurred for <COMPANY> consultants if the implementation goes beyond the proposed period.
