Nici n-a ajuns bine la dealeri noul VW Beetle 2012, ca a si aparut prima editie speciala a modelului. Se numeste VW Beetle Black Turbo Edition si deja poate fi comandat. E Turbo, deci avem sub capota un TSI de 2.0 litri, supraalimentat, in patru cilindri, care dezvolta 200 CP si 281 Nm, cuplat la o transmisie dublu ambreiaj. Vor fi fabricate doar 600 exemplare, toate cu un finisaj black pearl. Ce ar mai fi nou? Avem de a face cu un vehicul all terrain. Si cand spun all terrain, ma refer chiar la orice tip de suprafata. De la apa, la zapada, gheata si pana la orice tip de drum, fie ca e de tara, fie ca e asfalt. VW Aqua foloseste mai multe motoare. Cel principal este alimentat cu hidrogen si este folosit pentru a pune in miscare ventilatorul care ridica vehiculul cu putin deasupra solului. Ventilatoarele din spate sunt puse in miscare de motoare electrice individuale, cu ajutorul acestora putand fi controlata

It is front-engined and front-wheel drive. New Bulli measures 3.99 m in length, 1.75 m in width and 1.70 m in height. Wheelbase is 2.62 metres, slightly longer than that of a Golf (2.58 m). Bulli also has a wide track (1.50 m front and rear) in relation to its body width. Front and rear overhangs are very short. Kerb weight is 1,450 kg. Energy is supplied by a 40 kWh lithium-ion battery concealed in the sandwiched floor behind the sills which powers the Bullis electric motor. This engine produces 85 kW of power and 260 Newton metres of torque (115 PS/192 lbs ft). Theoretical driving range is up to 300 km (186 miles) a high value for an electric car. The new Bulli can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 11.5 seconds, and has a top speed (electronically limited) of 140 km/h (87 mph). Concept can also accommodate Volkswagens efficient petrol and diesel direct injection engines. Like the original Samba bus, the Bulli presented in Geneva has two-tone paint and a distinctive V on the bonnet; 18-inch alloy wheels are distinctive with stylised chrome hubcaps another tribute to the Samba bus. Volkswagen a prezentat astazi imaginile oficiale ale noului Golf Cabrio. Modelul este bazat pe versiunea cu trei usi a lui Golf VI si ar putea deveni nlocuitorul lui Eos n gama. n cazul n care Eos si Golf Cabrio ar exista n paralel, acest lucru ar putea duce la confuzie n rndul clientilor si la canibalizarea vnzarilor celor doua modele n plus, ampatamentul este identic, lungimea difera cu 30 de milimetri, iar latimea difera cu numai 11 milimetri. Acoperisul soft-top este angrenat electro-hidraulic si poate fi cobort sau montat la loc n

doar 9.5 secunde. Influenta versiunii cu trei usi a lui Golf este mai mult dect evidenta, singura diferenta dintre cele doua modele fiind plafonul si montantii A, B si C. Linia montantului A a fost nclinata semnificativ nspre pasageri pentru a acomoda plafonul decapotabil. n ceea ce priveste gama de motorizari, clientii pot sa aleaga ntre sase motorizari otto supraalimentate si echipate cu injectie directa, patru motorizari TSI si doua motorizari TDI. Cel mai putin puternic motor oferit pe Golf Cabrio este un 1.2 Tsi de 105 CP, n timp ce motorul cel mai puternic din gama este comun cu cel al lui Golf GTI si ofera 210 CP. Golf VI Cabrio este oferit si n doua versiuni diesel. Una dintre ele are un motor 1.6 TDI de 105 CP, n timp ce versiuea mai puternica beneficiaza de aportul unui motor de 2.0 litri si 140 CP. Versiunea 1.6 TDI poate fi comandata si cu o transmisie DSG cu sapte trepte. Versiunea de baza a lui Golf VI Cabrio porneste de la 23.625 euro cu TVA inclus pe piata din Germania. Preturile pentru celelalte piete vor fi anuntate n curnd. Debutul modelul va avea loc la Salonul Auto de la Geneva. Desi Golf a ajuns la cea de-a sasea generatie, versiunea cabrio a acestui model este abia la a patra generatie propriu-zisa. Explicatia din spatele acestei afirmatii este ca productia lui VW Golf I Cabrio a fost prelungita pe toata durata de fabricatie a lui Volkswagen Golf II, dupa care a fost urmat de Volkswagen Golf III Cabrio. Versiunea Cabrio a lui Volkswagen Golf IV era defapt un Golf III Cabrio restilizat. Odata cu cea de-a cincea generatie a lui Golf, versiunea decapotabila a acestui model a fost denumita Eos, dar se pare ca nemtii s-au razgndit.
