HEAVEN OR HELL YOUR CHOICE!

The Bible shows that Heaven is a barred
place for many. The entrance door is kept closed
and opened only as per the will of God. After
this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened
in heaven: (Rev. 4:1). This shows God must
have opened the door that was otherwise closed.
We see the same thing again in Revelation 19: 11.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a
white horse; and he that sat upon him was
called Faithful and True, and in righteousness
he doth judge and make war. God in all His
Glory lives in heaven. He Himself declared where
His habitation is:For thus saith the high and
lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name
is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with
him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,

to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive

the heart of the contrite ones (Isa. 57:15).
In heaven, angels, cherubims and seraphims
wait before God to serve Him and worship Him.
The seraphims are celestial beings who are before
God worshiping Him for His Holiness. They cover
their faces with their wings saying, Holy, holy,
holy, is the LORD of hosts, the whole earth is
full of His glory (Isa. 6:2). The heaven of God
is located far above all cosmos and is of a distance
immeasurable and infinite. It is high above the first
two heavens. The first heaven is the space
available immediately above the earth where birds
fly, the air circulates, the airplanes move, and the
clouds spread. It is an atmospheric heaven. From
this heaven, we get the rain and snowfall.

The second heaven is known as stellar

heaven. Here are the stars, planets and many
other bodies that move in the space. These
heavenly bodies are limitless and countless.
Above the second heaven is the third
heaven, which is Gods dwelling place. The
distance from mans dwelling place to Gods
dwelling place is too far. If we travel at a speed
of the light, which is 186,000 miles per second, it
would take endless years to cross the starry
second heaven. The Alpha Centauri of the
second heaven is the nearest star one can see
from the earth with his naked eye. The distance is
about 40,000 billion km from the earth. There
are trillions of other stars above Alpha Centauri
and they are all in one group, which is known as
a galaxy. There are countless such galaxies in the
second heaven. To reach the nearest galaxy, it is
estimated that it might take about six trillion light
years.
In Jeremiah 33:22 it is said, The host of
heaven cannot be numbered. Psalm 111:2 says,
The works of the LORD are great. Jeremiah
32:17 says, Ah Lord GOD! Behold, thou hast
made the heaven and the earth by thy great
power and stretched out arm, and there is
nothing too hard for thee. If our God is so
great and if He is our Maker (Psa. 95:6) where is
the honor we are giving Him? (Malachi 1:6).
Above the second heaven, we find a place
called the black hole. It is very big. The NASA
scientists of America were able to locate the black
hole and confirm its existence as a vast empty
space. The Bible foretold about it long before it
is discovered by the scientists. In the Bible, it is
called empty place. The first written book in
the Bible is the book of Job. God revealed this

truth in that book: He stretcheth out the north

over the empty place, and hangeth the earth
upon nothing (Job 26:7). Moreover, above this
empty place is the third heaven where our God
dwells (Isaiah 57:15).
Unless God takes a man to His dwelling
place of heaven, no one can enter there. The Lord
Jesus Christ came to this world for that purpose.
Even those whom God loved and blessed could
not enter there for a time. Abraham who was
known as Gods friend (God Himself said it in
Isaiah 41:8), and Daniel who was called the
beloved of God (Daniel 9:23; 10:11) and David
a man of Gods own heart (1 Samuel 13:14)
were not able to enter into Gods holy heaven
immediately after their death. Until Jesus died on
the cross, they were kept in the heart of the earth,
which is called Hades. The Lord Jesus Christ
revealed that Hades is of two parts. On one side
is hell and on the other side is paradise and a
gulf existed in between. No one could cross from
one side to the other. This truth is revealed by the
Lord Jesus in Luke 16:19-31, where He spoke
about the rich man in hell and Lazarus in Paradise.
The Lord Jesus Christ came down from heaven
but He did not go back to heaven immediately
after His death. He went to the heart of the earth
as He foretold it in Matthew 12:40. For as
Jonas was three days and three nights in the
whales belly; so shall the Son of man be three
days and three nights in the heart of the
earth. He went there only after He had said on
the Cross - It is finished and gave up the ghost
(John 19: 30).
The purpose of Lords visit to the heart of
the earth was to shift all His people from there to
heaven. This shows God kept a holding place for

godly people until the death of Christ on the Cross.

That place was paradise. This also tells us that
the Old Testament saints could not enter into
heaven until Jesus completed the work of salvation
by dying on the Cross for them. When Jesus came
out of the grave many of the Old Testament saints
appeared on the earth before they entered heaven.
And the graves were opened; and many
bodies of the saints which slept arose. And
came out of the graves after his resurrection,
and went into the holy city, and appeared unto
many (Matt. 27:52, 53). This is an indication
how from that time onwards the door of the heaven
was opened for the saints of all time. After this,
every saint is taken up to the paradise in heaven
directly.
Jesus is the only way if the door to heaven
must be opened to anyone. Jesus stressed this
truth: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no
man cometh unto the Father, but by me
(John14:6). The Bible further emphasizes:
Neither is there salvation in any other: for
there is none other name under heaven given
among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts
4:12). The heavens door is never opened for the
unrepentant men who remain as callous sinners.
The Bible quotes some categories here: But
cowards, traitors, perverts, murderers, the
immoral, those who practice magic, those who
worship idols, and all liarsthe place for them
is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which
is the second death (Rev. 21:8 GNB). Also
see 1 Cor. 6:9, 10 and Rev. 22:15.
Anyone who is not born again will not be
taken into heaven. The Bible warns that a birth in
a Christian family does not save a man. But as
many as received him, to them gave he power

to become the sons of God, even to them that

believe on his name: Which were born, not of
blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the
will of man, but of God (John 1: 12, 13). Jesus
Himself declared, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot
see the kingdom of God (John 3: 3).
Unregenerate sinners will not go to heaven,
but any sinner who shows genuine repentance and
clear faith and receives Jesus Christ as personal
Savior is accepted into heaven. That is why Jesus
preached repentance from the beginning of His
ministry to the end (Matt. 4:17; Luke 24:46, 47).
A sinner who says that he has repented can be
believed only by the fruit of his repentance. The
Bible warns: Bring forth therefore fruits meet
for repentance (Matt. 3: 8). Any sinner who is
born again will have the Spirit of Christ in him.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if
so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now
if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is
none of his (Romans 8:9).
Hell, in contrast with heaven, has never
closed at any time, and it is always wide open.
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and
opened her mouth without measure (Isa.
5:14). Hell follows dead people who had no
savior. And I looked, and behold a pale horse:
and his name that sat on him was Death, and
Hell followed with him. And power was given
unto them over the fourth part of the earth,
to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with
death, and with the beasts of the earth (Rev.
6:8). Hell is created by God for the purpose of
giving its inmates continued torture which would
be forever and ever. The fire in hell shall never be
quenched. Jesus declared this truth: And if thy
hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee

to enter into life maimed, than having two

hands to go into hell, into the fire that never
shall be quenched (Mark 9:43). God meant
hell for Satan but careless human beings jump into
it. Jesus warned to fear God and avoid hell. But
I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear
him, which after he hath killed hath power to
cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him
(Luke 12:5). Those who go to hell are the people
who are separated from God because of their
own ways. They are the people whom God turns
out saying: I know you not (Matt. 25:12;
Luke 13:25).
In the category of those whom God will
brand as I know you not, many preachers would
be included. Jesus Himself said, Many will say
to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have
cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? And then will I profess unto
them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye
that work iniquity (Matt. 7:22, 23). Today we
locate many such people on the pulpits, on the
TV shows and healing campaign and miracle
meetings.
Jesus Christ would stand the worlds
greatest liar if hell were not there, because He
is the one who told more about the fiery hell than
any other preacher. God is not a man that He
should lie (Num. 23:19). Jesus Christ is God in
flesh when He was on the earth. Hell is not a myth
that is brought before man to hold him in terror,
but a reality. Throughout the holy Bible, God has
been warning people about the reality of the hell
and who would be in it. The Psalmist says, The

wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the

nations that forget God (Psalm 9:17).
Proverbs 15:11 says, Hell and destruction are
before the LORD: how much more then the
hearts of the children of men? All ungodly
people have no other place in the eternity except
hell. The Lord Jesus Christ has the keys of hell
and death (Rev. 1:18). That means He has the
power to save the ungodly man from hell. The
Bible says, For when we were yet without
strength, in due time Christ died for the
ungodly. But God commendeth his love toward
us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us. For if, when we were enemies, we
were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,
much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved
by his life (Romans 5:6, 8, 10). Any sinner
before he loses his life can turn to the Lord Jesus
Christ with genuine repentance and humble himself
before Him and invite Him as his Lord and Savior
truthfully. Then he can escape hell.
God gave the choice to man to choose
heaven or hell. The Lord Jesus Christ warned,
Go in through the narrow gate, because the
gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to
it is easy, and there are many who travel it.
But the gate to life is narrow and the way that
leads to it is hard, and there are few people
who find it (Matt. 7:13, 14). Those who are
not living for Jesus and for the kingdom of heaven
are called in the Scriptures the wicked people.
The wicked will not go unpunished
(Proverbs 11:21).
