PROLOGUE 2010 A Report On MBA Freshers Party

The MBA 3rd semester students welcomed the fresh batch of 2010 by giving them a freshers party on 04.12.10. It took around a week of preparation on the part of both the first semester and third semester students to make the event a pleasant and successful one. The event was organized at AIMS auditorium and all the faculties of MBA department were invited. The event started at 3.30pm with the lighting of the lamp by AIMS CEO and Principal Mrs. Keeron Reddy, Prof. Ranganathan, HOD MBA Department, Dr. Bharat, Program Director MBA and Ms. Pujita, MBA first semester student. Mrs. Keeron Reddy in her speech welcomed the first semester students and congratulated the third semesters for maintaining AIMS tradition of welcoming the juniors who represent new energy and new hope. She also encouraged the new batch to have active participation in all events. A total of 130 students(70 first semester and 60 third semester) attended the event. There were various events organized such as the Dodge Ball Game and Mister and Miss Fresher contest. The following are some of the highlights of the freshers day: Group dance by Sachin and group Mimicry by Nishpaksh Lakhanpal Recitation by Tusum Bhattacharya Group dance by Ansh & group Zoo Zoo ad by Pujita, Santosh and others Dance by Ramya of third semester Dacce by Raghu and group of third semester

The judges for selecting the Mister and Miss Fresher were Prof. Ranganathan, Dr. Bharat, Prof. Sreekiran and Mr. Arijit Roy. The winners of the dodge ball game were given Cadbury bars. College organized snacks and dinner for all present on this occasion.

The Winners were: Mr. Fresher: Mr. Amrit Acharya Ms. Fresher: Ms. Delina Figueredo Best Dressed Female: Ms. Manpreet Kaur Best Dressed Male: Sarwagya Singh The event ended at 7.30pm after which everyone went to have dinner organized by college management. It was a very enjoyable day for all involved as it gave everyone an opportunity to showcase their talent.
