Steps to implement suggested Model 4

Step 1: Instructional design Step 2: Preparation Step 3: Using PLEs for carrying out daily learning process

Step 4:data gathering and Synthesizing

To evaluate the project and synthesize its result, the following methods will be used to gather information: Survey: before and after each phase of project. Direct observation of students activities by researcher. Using tools like Google analytics. Interviews with teachers and students. Using current evaluation tools of school.

Procedure: 1-Defining a set of teaching and learning tasks, activities, games, assessment methods, and assignments that stimulate students to use technology in their learning process and apply technology capabilities to communicate, share, create, and organize information. 2- Designing a cooperation model. 3- Designing a toolsselecting framework and selecting a set of web tools that can support the defined tasks in part 1. Responsible: teachers, research team, and a group of students.

Procedure: 1-Introducing and teaching the selected web tools to teachers. 2-Introdcing same PLE experiences to teachers and students. 3- Introducing the project to students and explain expectations of students. 4-Technology-using Etiquette will explained for students and signed by each student. (If there is not such a document, its necessary to define it by school managers.)

Procedure: 1-Teacher defines a promotingtechnology daily agenda and posts it on course blog. This agenda includes guidance, learning activities, useful links, and assignments that students must do them. 2- Each student by using the introduced web tools and based on the daily agenda creates his PLE, practices digital literacy, doing assignments, searches the web for related information, creates report, communicate with other students, share his findings, make contact to outside experts, receive and send feedbacks, helps other students to create theirs PLE, validates gathered information, and collects and organizes information. 3- Teacher monitors student activities, gives them feedback, evaluate theirs PLEs, encourage them to communicate, share, and organize information, helps them to find outside experts.

How to promote teachers and students to use technology in classroom activities? How to stimulate students to collaborate with each other and teachers by using technology? What is the appropriate cooperation model to support PLE-base learning? How the openness nature of PLE can adapts to top-down and control-oriented approaches of school? How to evaluate the PLE-based model outcomes?
