Ive heard so many people describe my dad as, He was the average guy. And he was. He was a paint and body man working on old wrecked cars, making an average salary, going home to an average house and pursuing average dreams. In fact the night he surrendered his life to the Lord, he actually said, Lord, Im a nobody. What would you want with me? And he heard the Lord say, Dont worry about it, son. Im a master at making champions out of nobodies. He didnt become a champion overnight. He had to be willing to do more than the average Christian to consume his life with the Word, be disciplined and determined to not quit or give up, trusting that eventually his dedication to studying the Word of God would show up all around him. And it did. Many of you have heard the stories of Dad standing on the edge of his bathtub early in the mornings holding his Bible so he wouldnt fall asleep. Thats above average! God has rewarded his above average commitment to the Word of God. And now hes training others around the world through our Bible Correspondence School how to develop this no quit, above average relationship with God. As a result, people are truly understanding Gods Word and how to apply it to their personal lives as well as ministries are being birthed all across the globe. In 2007, our enrollment climbed to 928 students in 19 countries around the world (including Libya, Indonesia and Trinidad). In our Africa outreach, because of our Presidents Cabinet members, we are providing training for the Tanzanian Pastors absolutely free and have 215 students enrolled (in 1 years time). Above average commitment produces above average results! We are dedicated to disciple and train believers. We arent looking to just get by or do only what is necessary to teach the Word. We want to be extraordinary. Partners, together we are going the extra mile this year to teach more believers, train more Pastors and disciple more lives around the world. I heard someone say, The extra mile will have no trafc jams! Thank you for being above average partners and for joining us on the extra mile this year! I heard the Lord share those words with me while praying over JSMI. So, I began thinking more and more about that word average. Then, I read this quote: Dont be content with being average. Average is as close to the bottom as it is to the top. -Anonymous In other words, youre not failing, but youre really not all that successful. Youre just average. I dont want to be average. Im sure you dont want to be average either. God never promotes average people. He looks for those who choose, on purpose, to go above what the average person is doing to fulll their purpose on earth. In other words, he looks for those who are willing to do what others wont do in order to succeed. Average means ordinary, fair, normal, intermediate. Ordinary means mediocre, characterless, nondescript, common, everyday, unremarkable, so-so, unexceptional, usual. When youre average, you dont stand out. We cant help it if we were born the average height, have the average eye color or the average foot size. We can help being average.

Get ready for the

BLESSING EXPLOSION

You have seen increase, but you are headed for more and more. You and I are the ones who will see the immeasurable, the limitless, and the surpassing blessing of God upon our lives . . .

omething new and awesome is on the horizon. That is why recently many have been experiencing attacks from the enemy like never before. He has not learned any new games or tactics. He senses something explosive is about to happen in the body of Christ and the only way he knows how to react is to attack. His objective is to get us to give up before our explosion can come. Quitting can never be an option. Settle it in your heart once and for all that no matter what kind of attacks that are launched against you, you will not quit. We are headed for the blessing explosion. The fullness of the blessing is headed to your house and it will blast every limitation away. Can you imagine walking in the blessing of God in its greatest level and its highest degree? Romans 15:29 says, . . . When I come unto you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ. The word fullness means complete. This fullness of blessing is an empowerment, and supernatural things happen in the lives of people in whom the blessing is upon. Everything is complete and nothing is missing in their lives. There are some people who have walked in the fullness in a greater measure than others. There are many people who are walking in the fullness in tremendous measure and the results of that fullness has exceeded anything they ever dreamed or imagined. Jesus walked in the full measure of Gods blessing and we can also. It is time for you to walk in the fullness of the blessing.

A PROPHETIC WORD
The Bible says that if you will believe the prophets you will prosper. In a recent meeting, a prophetic word regarding the blessing was given by Brother Kenneth Copeland: The manifestation of the blessing saith the Lord, is at an all-time high. You are approaching a blessing manifestation that the human race has never seen before. The blessing will surround you, the blessing will encase you. All debt will have to get up and leave you the same way leprosy left the lepers of old. Debt is a nancial sickness; it is nancial leprosy, a burden, and part of the curse. If you will begin to confess that this blessing manifestation is coming, you will be shocked and thrilled at how quickly you will have glory arise and drive debt out of your lives. I will bless you beyond your income. I will bless you beyond your salaries. I will bless you beyond anything you have ever known before. I will bring nancial blessing on you that you dont have any idea where it came from. It has come from an explosive place. Its ready and I am ready saith the Lord.

That sounds like the fullness of blessing in its greatest level and its highest degree. When God says coming to the human race like it has never seen before that means no one has ever walked in this fullness quite like you and I are about tonot Abraham, not Solomon. We have a better covenant founded upon better promises. The way I like to say it is, they were blessed, but we are headed for extremely blessed. They were favored, but we are headed for highly favored. The Message translation refers to this fullness of the blessing as an extravagant blessing, a more extravagant blessing. The word extravagant is dened as going beyond any previous limits, excessive, almost to the point of being wasteful. Remember the woman with the alabaster box? She did not limit her love for Christ. She gave her best to the extreme of being wasteful. She took o all the limits. Whatever was a limit in your life before is not going to be a limit anymore.

EXCEEDING RICHES HERE AND NOW!

In Ephesians 2:7 Paul wrote, . . . that in the ages to come, he might show the exceeding riches of his grace, in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Did you notice here the phrase exceeding riches of his grace? Paul wrote this ages ago. Could it be that it was our generation he saw? Could it be that he saw you and me in the spirit? I believe if he had known our names he would have written them in this verse. The ages to come have come. He is not talking about Heaven. We do not need that kind of grace or blessing in Heaven. We do need it right here in the earth. Jesus is not returning for a church that is beat up, worn out, broke, sad, disgusted, or failing. He is coming for a glorious church and He has made provision for us. The rst time the word glory is mentioned in the Bible it had nothing to do with clouds, smoke, lightning, or any other manifestation of Gods presence. The glory was actually referring to mans assets. Isaiah 60:2 says, . . . the darkness shall cover the earth, and the gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. What is this glory that will be seen? If you continue reading the chapter it is obvious the glory is wealth and possessions. Isaiah 60:5 states, the abundant wealth of the [Dead] Sea shall be turned to you, unto you shall the nations come with their treasures. When the world is in its darkest hour, the church is going to be in its brightest hour. When everything is crashing around the world, the church is going to excel and the glory of the Lord will be seen upon us, the church. The Amplied version of Ephesians 2:7 says, He did this that He might demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. You and I are the ones who will see the immeasurable, the limitless, and the

surpassing blessing of God upon our lives, and we will walk in the fullness of that blessing to its highest degree and its greatest level. Psalm 115: 12-15 (Amplied version) explains it this way, The Lord has been mindful of us, He will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel, He will bless the house of Aaron [the priesthood], He will bless those who reverently and worshipfully fear the Lord, both small and great. May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children. You have seen increase, but you are headed for more and more. How is God going to increase us more and more? According to Websters dictionary an explosion is a sudden widespread increase. It will be through an explosion that will blast lack out of our lives. The explosion will blast debt out of our lives. It will blast every demon out of our lives who has been assigned to stop our nances. This explosion will usher in fullness and the wealth transfer out of the hands of the sinner into our hands. Things you have stood in faith for will suddenly come to pass. Do you hear an explosion?

DEBT HAS TO GO!

All debt will have to get up and leave you the same way leprosy left the lepers of old. Leviticus 13:9 says, When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest. The phrase in a man caught my attention. Leprosy is not on the man but in the man. The Spirit of God said to me, Debt, as a nancial leprosy, is not on my people, it is in them. Just as leprosy could be chronic, which means lasting a long time, debt can be chronic due to your habits, or your training. It is time for debt to depart. God said He would drive debt out of your life. A leper came to Jesus and said, I know you can. If you will, you can make me whole. Jesus said, Why, of course I will. (Personal paraphrase) When Jesus ministered to the lepers, the disease departed. That is Gods will for all men for all times. How do you drive something out of a person who has had it in them for years? An explosion, a shaking! Haggai 2:6-9 (Amplied version) says, For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake and make tremble the [starry] heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations and the desire and the precious things of all nations shall come in, and I will ll this house with splendor, says the Lord of hosts. The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of hosts. The latter glory of this house [with its successor, to which Jesus came] shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place will I give peace and prosperity, says the Lord of hosts. The best way to shake something loose is an explosion. God is telling us that this silver and this gold belongs to Him and He is going to shake it loose through this blessing explosion. I challenge you to start confessing that you are in the blessing explosion and the fullness of the blessing is manifesting in your life. AIF

Many of you have faced all sorts of trials, setbacks, disappointments, mistakes, and failures, but do not let those things keep you from your next season. The eects of winter, heat, and storms are coming to an end. Seasons always have a beginning and an end. If you are struggling to stand in faith, do not give up. The enemys main objective is to keep you from your new season, to keep you down so he can keep you small; to keep you in poverty so you can never reach beyond your own need; to keep you from dealing with sins so he can keep you from walking out your purpose; to keep reminding you of your past so you can never possess the future. Gods plan is for you to step into and possess your new season! What is this new season? It is walking out the desires of your heart. God is saying that all you have to do is not consider the past. Do not measure what He wants to do in your life by what did or didnt happen yesterday. He says He will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Do not worry about how it is going to happen. He will even create whatever it takes to make a way if He has to. What the enemy meant for evil in your life, God will turn around for good. He will reweave your life, your destiny, and your purpose. God is bigger than all the mistakes or setbacks

that have taken place in your life and He can place your feet on solid ground and restore you. The only requirement on your part is to forget the former things. Philippians 3:12-14 says, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Your past is an enemy to the mark and the high calling of God on your life. The press that Paul is speaking of here is a place of struggle, a place of resistance. Paul had to deal with his past and the image of who and what he used to be. He knew that the call of God on his life, his new season, was greater than anything he had experienced up to this point in his life. It became his desire, his quest, and his pursuit. To possess this new season it will take getting an image of Gods love for you. In 2 Corinthians 5:14-21 we are told of His love for us. He died for all so that old things could become new. God loves you beyond what you can ask, think, or imagine. You are righteous because of Him and you have the right to walk in this new season. Step into and possess your new season of blessing today! hen I was in college at Texas Tech University, I wanted to be a college cheerleader so bad! I was a cheerleader all through High School and loved every minute of it! Cheerleading was my life! I dreamed about it. I made up routines. I loved cheering at the games, pep rallies and competitions. I was Miss School Spirit - if you know what I mean. By my Senior year of college, I decided to try out for the new squad. I prayed for it. I could see it. I could picture me at the Red Raider football games with 50,000+ fans screaming. People were encouraging me to try out. I even took extra gymnastic classes during the Christmas holidays. I stretched. I practiced. I got more and more stable doing stunts without falling. I was determined and ready.

SET GOALS FOR YOURSELF

Tryout practices started and I went! I was giving it my best. One night, I was in the locker room at the athletic center with my friends and one of them commented on my toe touch jumps. Somebody said, Let me see your toe touches. Without stretching beforehand, I jumped into a toe touch and instantly, it felt like the most painful rip in my muscle all the way down the back of my thigh. I fell down and was hurting so bad, I couldnt even walk. Needless to say, the pulled muscle was so bad that it ruined my chances of even trying out. With it being my senior year, it was my last and only shot of going for that dream. All because I didnt warm up, it cost me a dream. Strangely, all these years later, it still isnt totally back to normal all because of one night - jumping without being ready. Recently, I was reminded of that incident in my prayer time when I kept hearing the Lord say, Its warm up time! I didnt know exactly what he meant by that until I remembered that story of college cheerleading tryouts. And so Ive discovered the same principle applies in our own lives of warming up before you play the game or before you pursue the dreams God has given you. If you dont warm up, it could cost you your dream. Nobody likes warming up. We want to play the game, we dont want to spend time stretching. Its boring. But what most people dont realize is that most injuries occur in the rst 6 minutes of exercise; however, if they had properly warmed up, it could eliminate those injuries. Well, Satan would love to wipe you out within the rst 6 months of you pursuing your assignment. And he can do that if youre not properly trained or prepared. Here are 3 benets to warming up (physically): 1. Increase performance. 2. Reduce/prevent injuries. 3. Prevent early fatigue.

Before anything else, getting ready is the secret to success. - Henry Ford How do you warm up so youre ready when God says, its time to step out? One of the most critical elements of success is setting goals. Dont just live day to day without setting personal goals for growth. You may want to establish a yearly goal of reading 6 new books. Or it could be a goal of hearing a faith-building CD at least one hour every day this month. If you dont set goals for yourself personally, you will be in the same place year after year after year. Success doesnt happen without a plan. People who succeed and tap into the potential God gave them, do it because they set personal goals for themselves. Where there are no goals, neither will there be signicant accomplishments. There will only be existence. - Anonymous Setting goals gives you a reason to get up. It gives you something to aim towards. It keeps you young. Someone once said that without a goal, its dicult to score. Whats the point in playing the game, if you dont have a goal? Well, you are in the game of life and God has a personal, unique plan just for you. It wont happen just wishing for it. You have to prepare for it. Take strategic steps towards your dreams by setting goals that stretch you and cause you to come up higher. You can set goals in the area of your relationship with God or in building your faith or in keeping your home clean and peaceful. I used to set the same New Years Resolution year after year of getting closer to God this year. The problem was I never set any personal goals on exactly how I would do that. So, consequently, nothing changed. Its like saying, I want to lose weight this year, but never determining how much weight, what youre going to do in order to lose the weight, and when youre going to do it. It wont happen without a goal, a plan, a strategy.

I believe you can take those same three benets and apply them to preparing or being ready for God to use you in a new way. If I had 8 hours to chop down a tree, Id spend 6 sharpening the axe. - Abraham Lincoln In other words, preparation time is never wasted time. You may be wondering why nothing is happening in your life, youre getting upset and discouraged, but God is saying, Prepare. Get ready. Warm up. God has a specic assignment that only you can carry out. Satan has a specic assignment to destroy your life. How much would he love to decrease your performance because you werent properly trained and ready for the new thing God wants to do in your life? How much would he love to injure you emotionally, mentally, physically,

WRITE YOUR GOALS DOWN

Once you determine the areas where you need to set goals (i.e., faith, nances, tness, etc), then you need to write them down. Written goals prove youre serious, you are committed. You cant just leave your goals in your head. Goals not written down are just wishes! - Anonymous Habakkuk 2:2 even says, Write the vision and make it plain upon paper... Taking the time to sit down and write out what you want to accomplish this month, this quarter, this year keeps you focused.

It is worth the hours it takes to think about it, visualize it and write it down. When Satan comes along and tells you that youre wasting your time, youre not going to succeed, your dreams are foolish, it will never happen to you....you can get out your goals and declare, It is written! Remember goals should always be: measurable, realistic, written, and have a deadline. It is so important that you dont set unrealistic goals for yourself. All that does is leave you feeling like a failure, but the truth is, your goals were completely unrealistic. Dont set a goal to read the entire Bible in the 1st quarter of this year if you can only allot 2 hours a week to reading. Its unrealistic. Set goals that stretch you but dont break you.

keeping up with the laundry, etc, schedule time to do it. Dont prioritize your schedule; you must schedule your priorities. Having the knowledge, the faith and the condence to step out into your divine calling is a priority.

TAP INTO THE WISDOM OF THOSE YOU ADMIRE

There are people that God has raised up to mentor us. They have the very wisdom you need. And you dont have to appoint 3 hours a day to sit down and read their life stories. You can be mentored by them through their CDs just while youre driving to work or getting ready or doing laundry. I heard Erik Lawson say, I have spent time with Michael Jordan, John Maxwell, Oral Roberts, T.D. Jakes and Bill Gates. We all stared at him with our mouths open. Then, he said, Ive never met any of them, but I listen to their CDs every morning for 20 minutes while driving to work. I read their books in every pocket of time I can nd. You can learn from others successes by observing their lifestyle, watching them, listening to them and reading about them. Look for people you admire. Invest in your dreams by investing in them. Absorb everything you can from their ministries and businesses. Someone once said, You can acquire decades of information in only a few hours. And lets face it, when youre warming up for your assignment, you need wisdom more than anything else. If youve noticed, theres an acronym in the points Ive shared with you and it spells: SWEAT! Nobody likes to sweat, especially us girls. But sweat proves youre taking action, youre doing something that will produce results. I believe when God calls, you wont have to say, Hang on. Im not ready yet... and miss your opportunity. Instead, you will be warmed up, knowledgeable, condent and full of faith ready to step out into whatever God calls you to do. EDUCATE YOURSELF

We cant ever accept the mindset of knowing just enough to get by. Its important that you consistently educate yourself in the area you feel called to pursue. If its parenting your small children right now, then educate yourself with books and material on that subject (healthy meals, playtime, discipline, etc). If your dream is to open your own store, educate yourself by reading books and learning from others. If you feel called into full time ministry, educate yourself in the Word more than you ever have before. Be specic about which books you want to read. Write it down. Go buy the book. I told the sta at JSMI that I want to establish a learning culture. And we have. We have reading assignments and times where we come together and share what were learning. It challenges us to come up higher, keep growing, learning and stretching. I just thought that after I got my degree I wouldnt need to study again! And I was thrilled about that...until I discovered this quote: When youre through changing, youre through. - Bruce Barton Look for opportunities to educate yourself. Learn everything you can about the Word, about the pursuit you feel God has called you to. Become an expert in your eld. Remember condence is gained in the areas where you have the most knowledge, and the Bible says we have to study to show ourselves approved. (II Timothy 2:15) Habakkuk 2:2 continues to say, ...though the vision tarry, wait for it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time. You have to appoint a time to go after your dreams, your goals. Goals are never achieved simply because they are thought about and written down. You have to designate a time on your weekly calendar, your hour-by-hour time map, to physically pursue your goals. If your goal is to read Dads book Increase Gods Way, then you need to look at your schedule and see where you have uninterrupted time to sit down for a good 30 minutes and focus on nothing but reading. If its Saturday mornings at 8:00a.m. while the rest of the family is asleep, then do it. Pencil it in. Schedule it. And stick to it. Assign a time to go after your dreams, and you will see noticeable changes in your growth, your faith, your condence, and your knowledge. I believe this is one of the biggest areas that causes us to give up on our goals and its as simple as sitting down and making time to do them. ome of us are routine-kind of people. We enjoy doing the same routine at the same time each day. If something changes in the routine, that wasnt on the schedule, it throws everything o. We dont like change. We dont like spontaneity. We dont like anything to interrupt our well thought out plans for each day. Then, theres some of us who are spontaneous. We dont like to be sculpted into a little mold. We dont like predictability. We arent planners. We y by the seat of our pants. We wake up at a dierent time each day, eat at dierent times, go to sleep at a dierent time each night and rarely ever develop a routine, only those that are absolutely necessary. Its good to have a little bit of both personality traits in us. But as Ive been studying the Word of God, Ive discovered that its only through routine, regular exposure to Gods Word, that we can draw near unto God. However, its not easy to develop a habit of drawing near to God. Its easy to just do it when we feel like it one day and not the next day. Why must we be consistent in our time with God? Because only through consistency does change come about. We see that with exercising. You cant just work out two times and expect change in your body. Well, Satan is after your life. Hes after whats in your heart and hell work day and night to try to get entrance into your heart. You cant just spend Sunday only in the Word of God and expect change in your heart, in your thoughts, in your life. It comes through a consistent routine with God. Sometimes we think, After Ive done a few things around the house, ran all my errands, returned my phone calls, exercised, cooked dinner . . . then Ill spend some quiet time with God. Next thing you know, your errands lasted longer than expected, your phone call to your best friend lasted one hour, there wasnt any time for exercising, you ended up ordering pizza (again), and by the end of the evening, youre exhausted and ready for bed. No time left for God.

Most Christians are actually self-defeating Christians. They have decided what they can or cannot have, what they can or cannot do, and what they can or cannot be. You could say that they have become their own worst enemy. They dont even need the devil.

You might be thinking, Oh come on, Jerry. Thats not true. I know I dont do that. Well, let me ask you this question: Have you ever said something like, Well, I just cant imagine increase coming into my life? Or, I cant imagine a happy marriage? When you say things like that you are setting limits in your life. Your words are holding you captive (Proverbs 6:2). Before you can ever experience all that God has for you, you must take the limits o your life. Quit being your own worst enemy.

Declaring Gods dream for your life is one way that you pursue it. Let me encourage you to get up in the morning and declare that you are going to experience the goodness and the abundance of God like never before. Write it down. Put it where you can see it every day. The more you begin to declare your dream, the more convinced you will become that you will experience it. 3. STICK WITH IT. Now, no matter what happens, stick with pursuing your dream. No matter what comes your way, dont give up. Dont allow negative circumstances to cause you to give up on your dream. People who are determined to stick with it, will eventually live it. But you will never live your dream if you give up on it so DONT QUIT! 4. LIVE IT. If you will dream Gods dream for your life, if you will pursue it, and stick with it, then eventually you will live it. In other words, it will become reality. It may not happen in one day or in one month, but give God and His Word time to work in your life. He will come through! After all, its His dream for your life. And He wants it to come to pass. So dream it, pursue it, stick with it, and live it! God wants to crown your life with His goodness. He wants you to experience abundance like you have never experienced it before. He wants to make your life better! But ultimately its up to you. You have to decide to make His dream your dream and then pursue it, stick with it, and when you do that, there will come a time when you will look around and realize that you are living it! AIF

You can change the course of your life. You can make your life better!
You might be saying, How do I do that? You start by lining your words up with Gods Words. Say what God says about you and your situation and not what the devil says. You dont have to sit back and allow the devil to convince you that your life is not going to get any better. Dont listen to that lie. Thats all it is. A lie. Dont let him persuade you into becoming passive. Dont let him cause you to believe that your life will always be like it is right now. It wont. You can change the course of your life. You can make your life better! Here are four keys that Ive learned to making your life better. 1. DREAM IT. Martin Luther King Jr., said in his famous speech, I have a dream. So let me ask you today: Do you have a dream for your life? Every person who has achieved a better life started o by dreaming of a better life. Gods dream for your life is that you experience His goodness and abundance like never before (Psalm 65:11). So make that your dream for your life. And the more time you spend in His Word, the more perfected that image will become on the inside of you. It will cause you to wake up with an excitement that you are one day closer to His dream (and yours) becoming a reality in your life. And the more excited you become about your dream, then the more passionate you will become about it. The more passionate you become, the more determined you become. And the more determined you become, the less you think about quitting and giving up on it. 2. PURSUE IT. To make Gods dream become a reality in your life, its going to take more than just dreaming it. It starts with dreaming it but it doesnt end there. That is just the beginning. Next, you must pursue the dream. Jesus said if you believe those things which you say shall come to pass then they will (Mark 11:23). And theres nobody that you believe more than yourself. So you must begin to declare Gods dream in your life. When you hear yourself declaring Gods dream for your life, then it becomes real to you.
