Beautiful Feet
An excerpt from Serving in His Steps Runners take good care of their feet. They take great care as they buy shoes. They dont mind spending a few extra dollars on socks. They stretch their Achilles tendons. When youre a runner, foot care is not optional. Even so, few runners would enter their feet in a beauty contest. Calluses form and no matter how careful we are, new shoes often cause blisters. Those who run for fun and exercise usually cant boast of having beautiful feet. But those who run with the message of Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, always can! Certainly our pastor and other staff members here at Praise Temple fit into the beautiful feet category! Gods prophet, Isaiah, once wrote (52:7): How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, Your God reigns! Every one of Christs ambassadors walks on beautiful feet! Every special envoy of heavens High King carries the message of a wonderful salvation, the salvation Jesus himself won for us on Calvarys cross. That message cant help buy beautify every part of us even our feet! As Isaiah says, our pastor, church staff, and volunteers Bring Good News the news of sins forgiven. Proclaim Peace the peace of heart that comes to all who abandon rebellion and receive instead our Fathers love. Bring Good Tidings tidings of great joy for everyone who clings to Jesus in faith. Proclaim Salvation that God-given gift of wholeness in spirit, purpose in life, comfort in trouble, hope in tragedy, and heaven in death. A beautiful message one carried on beautiful feet!

19th Annual Fall Festival

While the world celebrates

Halloween, Praise Temple plans to hallow Him, holding a Fall Festival dedicated to the God we serve. There will be a planning meeting held after the Bible Study on Wednesday, October 7th. The event itself will be the last weekend in October (date TBA) there will be carnival games, face painting, bounce houses, a car bash, concessions, cake walks, and, of course, CANDY! Bring your family and have a grand old time enjoying one another and the Lord of the Harvest.

Revelation Class

to support this venture. The Women of Dr. Pier is with us on Wednesdays this fall. Praise raised $267.00 and still have purses to sell next time! At the 19th Annual Fall Festival, the women will be having a Cake Walk and a fundraiser dinner. We are taking a look at the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the prophetic book which is literally a blessing to read and study (Revelation 1:3). There is no need to fear this powerful tome, since we know that our Father wants us blessed and has send a master tour guide our way. Dr. Pier has taught and preached prophecy for over 50 years and has something spectacular in store for you.
