Colour analysis- Adele

Colours used across Adeles Media
The main colour palette of the singer Adele is black and white. This is connoting to her audience that she is serious about her work and also some may be old fashioned because a common stereotype of black and white is that it is old media. The black may also suggest that her songs may contain sad/depressing lyrics, this is because black connotes death and sadness. However she has a splash of the colour green, drawing your eye towards that area. This causes the audience to remember the piece of media as it stands out from the back ground

After researching artists from my music genre I found that autographic/calligraphic/ block capital letters, which are either modern or old fashioned style, fonts are the most common used for the artists name and song/album title. So using urbanfonts.com I have found some samples that I feel fit the genre of my artist.

Fonts

Here are some block capital examples:

Here are some autographic fonts. I feel these would be applicable as they appear to be hand written such as a signature.

Colours
These colour palettes would work for my artists as they include dark colours (greys and blacks) but then have bright colours to use as accents when displaying images such as Adeles 21 album
