Tempe, AZ, October 21, 2011 -- YouTube sensation Obadiah Parker, known for its c over of OutKasts Hey Ya, which was featured on the show Scrubs and has been viewed al most 8 million times on YouTube, will perform at College Dropouts on October 21 and 28. A college hangout for students and college football fans since 2008, College Dro pouts is famously known for inventing the popular Drinkin with Lincoln penny draft beer specials that quickly were copied by other Tempe establishments. College Dr opouts is conveniently located across the street from ASUs Sun Devil Stadium. Its a great location, said owner Kevin Jones. Were so close to Sun Devil Stadium the building rocks every time ASU scores. You cant get closer to the stadium without a ticket. The rock will come from Obadiah Parker on October 21 and 28, which earlier this year released the album The Siren and The Saint. It was the latest milestone for a band that has had a meteoric rise. In 2007, Obadiah Parkers Hey Ya was named one o f the years Top 10 selling singer-songwriter singles by iTunes. In 2008, the song was featured as a question on the hit game show Jeopardy! as well as on The Howard Stern Show. In 2009, the song was featured on the hit TV show Scrubs starring Zach Braff.
