SOUTH KITSAP FIRE AND RESCUE RESOLUTION NO: 2011-05 WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners (Commission) of South Kitsap Fire and Rescue (District), has an obligation to notify the Kitsap County Assessor regarding the Districts budgetary requirements for the fiscal year, 2012; now, therefore, in compliance therewith BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF SOUTH KITSAP FIRE AND RESCUE AS FOLLOWS: 1. For information purposes, the County Assessor has notified the Commission that the preliminary assessed valuation of real properties lying within the boundaries of the District for the calendar year 2011 is $6,405,711,448. The population of the District is over 10,000. 2. Attached hereto is Exhibit A, which by this reference is incorporated herein and made a part hereof. Exhibit A is hereby is adopted as the budget of South Kitsap Fire and Rescue for the calendar year 2012 (*Exhibit A to be submitted 1/1/2012); 3. The Board of County Commissioners of Kitsap County, Washington, is hereby requested to certify the Districts two levies (Regular Tax Levy and Emergency Medical Services Levy) for the year 2012 as identified in Section 4 hereof; and 4. The County Treasurer of Kitsap County, Washington, is hereby authorized and directed to deposit and sequester the monies received from the collection of the tax levy regarding the Districts Regular Tax Levy and Emergency Medical Services levy, in the amounts and funds specified below: A. $ 8,845,542 into the Expense Fund of said District

B. $_____3,214,526____ into the Emergency Medical Services Fund as special levy funds. 5. the One copy of this resolution together with one copy of Exhibit A shall be delivered to Assessor of Kitsap County, Washington.
