Kaleidoscope

With a forewarning chill I sense Octobers wind Pushing the window sill Having convinced the cracks Various and unfilled To let it just pass by For it seeks out my ears A whistle and whisper, She is gone, forever. Our seasons final fall. Its invisible strength Present in everywhere Causes the branches sway Symphonic pendulum Many thousands unleashed Goodbyes in unison; Dismayed leaves drop alone In kaleidoscope air Reddish yellow and brown. The seasons galant end, As they float their way down, Leaving just November.
