Good Morning,

Yesterday, I accepted the resignations of Tim Eaton and Carole Hardy. Tim and Carole have served the Lottery and The State of Oregon for many years and I would like to express my sincere appreciation for their service. Tim and Carole have made a significant contribution to the formulation and stability of the Lottery and they are to be commended for their dedication and years of service.

While I assess our leadership and reporting structure and finalize my decision regarding our strategic direction within the Retail Operations and Marketing Departments, I have delegated interim executive oversight and supervision of the Retail Operations and Marketing Departments to Jon Clontz, Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer.

I have also accepted the resignation of Mary Loftin, Public Affairs Manager. I have delegated the interim Public Affairs Manager responsibilities to Chuck Baumann.

In the face of our rapidly changing and competitive environment, we see the need to make some strategic changes. Jon and I are committed to take actions that will increase efficiency, accountability, and teamwork. It will be of vital importance that we all combine our efforts to help the Lottery move forward in a unified and positive manner during this time of transition and change. Once again, thank you for all your continued hard work and dedication to the Lottery.
