Science in the News: Current Events

Task: You will choose a science related article from a magazine, newspaper, or a reliable online periodical ( online choices are below) . You will want to find an article(s) that interests you in some way! Articles must be published from Dec. 1, 2011- Jan. 12 2012. You may complete up to two article write ups. For each article write up, you will type at least 2 paragraphs to summarize and reflect on the reading. The Summary: This part of the assignment should start by including the title of the article, where you found the article and who was the author. Next, in one paragraph you will summarize the article. Please do not retell the article though pick out the main points of the article that were most important. The Reflection: What did you like about this article? What interested you in this article? There is a total of 10 points possible ( 5 points per article write up). Make sure to turn in a neat assignment along with the article. Write- ups must be typed.
