The first three trimesters provide strong foundation in basic disciplines and the remaining three trimesters enable the students to sharpen their specific skills in areas like Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, International Business, Information Technology and Retail Management. The programs are developed after extensive research and interaction with various stakeholders, students and alumni. The programmes strike an innovative balance between theory and practice.They aim at nurturing highly motivated business executives to meet the challenges and to cope up with the increasingly diverse workforce requirements. All programs are duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Our PGDM program is accredited from National Board of Accreditation (NBA), Govt. of India for excellence in quality education. It has also been granted equivalence to MBA degree by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. The PGDM (IB) & (Retail & Marketing) programs are sector specific. The BBA, BCA & MCA programs are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.

The objective of this club is to equip students with the financial acumen required to succeed in business by providing them with insights on various financial aspects of Management. Marketing club The marketing club of JIMS seeks to provide the student with a clear perspective of marketing issues and to empower budding marketers through resources that will enrich their professional development and careers. HR Club The HR Club aims to facilitate discovery of the self and a better understanding about ones own responses and reactions to the situation. Tarkash -The Entrepreneurship Cell Tarkash, the Entrepreneurship Cell, firmly believes that emerging economies like India need the drive and innovation of young entrepreneurs. The cell aims at manifesting the latent entrepreneurial spirit of the youth. Corporate Checkmate Corporate Checkmate is a quarterly lecture series in which leaders from the industry share their knowledge and experience with professionals, academicians and young would-be managers. It is an attempt to bring together corporate under one roof, thereby providing a platform for interaction amongst experts from all spheres.

Sports The Institute firmly believes that a manager needs to have a well-groomed personality. To ensure this, sports are given due importance. The Institute has many sports facilities, which include Volleyball court, Basketball court,TT rooms and badminton court. Rotract Club Rotract - The Social Service Club is the one of the latest student driven initiatives by JIMS. It aims to contribute to the society in a meaningful manner by utilizing the managerial expertise and skills of the students for the benefit of those that work for the society. verve Annual Cultural Fest Verve creates a positive approach for these excited young minds and helps to sustain their sporty spirit. Besides this, the cultural program provides them an opportunity to express themselves in diverse ways.

Selection Procedure:
To become a part of JIMS, the students have to undergo thorough, rigorous and comprehensive selection procedure. Only those with exceptional management potential are selected and groomed through the scientifically designed academic programmes. Final selection will be made on the basis of Academic Performance, CAT/MAT Score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. GD/PI will be held at Delhi (JIMS Campus), Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Indore, Varanasi, Jabalpur, Ranchi, Kolkata, Patna, Lucknow and Gorakhpur.**

How to Apply
Prospectus and application forms are available at Rohini (Delhi) Campus on payment of ` 1000/- in cash or through Demand Draft in favour of Jagan Institute of Management Studies payable at Delhi. You can opt for more than one program in the same application form without any additional payment. Applicants can also apply online or download Application Forms from the website of JIMS i.e. www.jimsindia.org. All such forms must be supported by a Demand Draft of ` 1000/- or they can even pay online through credit cards. The last date for submission of the form is 31st January, 2012, Group Discussion and Personal Interview will start from 1st week of February, 2012.
