JOE: A REAL AMERICAN HERO #173

Flint, Lady Jaye and Roadblock use information uncovered by Sneak Peek to infiltrate Darklon's secret bunker and take the villain prisoner. During their extraction, enemy fire manages to wound both Darklon and Lady Jaye. With limited supplies at hand, Flint decides to save Lady Jaye from her fatal wounds but she stops him, insisting that the mission comes first, even above her life. As the helicopter crash-lands on the USS Flagg, Darklon is carried off and whether Lady Jaye will survive or not is still in doubt... Back in Brighton Beach, the Russian Arashikage dojo is attacked by a mysterious new enemy, the Blue Ninjas. They are pursuing the Russian master, but soon turn their attention to the three other ninjas: Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes and Billy. After a trying battle that leaves Billy fatally wounded, Storm Shadow asks the Russian master to tell them everything he knows about this deadly new adversary...
