UCAS SEARCHING FOR SUBJECTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Key in the Web Address www.ucas.ac.uk When the UCAS home page appears click on Course Search This will allow you to then Search for Courses You should then choose to Search by Subject thinking about what areas are of interest to you

Subject areas are then listed in Alphabetical order simply click on the appropriate letter and locate the subject area you want to find out more about The subject area you choose will then ask you to specify further for example in Accountancy you can choose:

To view all Accountancy Courses; To see only Accountancy; To see more specific courses containing Accountancy

By clicking on one of these options you will then be given a list of the exact courses available at the various Universities in the UK. You should note that UCAS information on University Courses is updated on the website regularly and that the information given on this sheet is for example purposes only. Please log into UCAS for current information on courses available and entry requirements.

This section shows Accountancy courses at The University of Aberdeen. These courses are 4 or 5 years in length and are full time. The qualification gained will be an Honours Master of Arts Degree. Choosing All Accountancy Courses gives 837 courses in total. All courses are listed in alphabetical order of University. It will also indicate, where necessary, if any subjects are seen as being essential. This shows that to study Accounting and Finance at the University of Aberdeen you require 4 Bs at Higher. This section shows that the grades BBBB must be obtained at a single sitting or BBBBC obtained over two sittings will be accepted. English at a minimum of Standard Grade (1,2,or 3) is also required.
