Mushrooms in autumn Netherlands

Beautiful colours, in Dutch called Heksenbotermeaning witch butter

Another beautiful colour

(Rossig buiskussen= Pink cushion)

Hahaha.. Nature makes fun of us human beings

(Kleine stinkzwam=Little smelly mushroom)

Zeedenmycena= called after the name of the tree where you can find these fir cones. This is also a rare mushroom.

Called Angels seat. The whole tree trunk was full of it. A banquet of angels.

Isnt it like a flower?

Oorlepelzwam = Earspoonmushroom due to the form. What a beauty, dont you think?

This is no good news for the tree - Honeymushroom

One of the many milkmushrooms, the name is understandable. These mushrooms give a milky substance when damaged.

We really found this one like it is. The name of the mushroom is Eikeldopzwam. Eikel means Oak (from the oaktree); dop is the headpiece; and zwam means mushroom.

You find mushroom in the most strange places. Here the eikeldopzwam was in the dop -

Mushrooms are also beautiful under the head. Very artistic drawings

This we call a cheese mushroom and like cheese it is sweating!

Karmijnrood Netwatje, named after this beautiful colour

This is a very tiny mushroom, we found it in cow shit. Luckily for us, we both like to do this kind of work! So we both smell. Its a very rare mushroom. Look how beautifel it is also under the head.

Little creatures like to eat the mushrooms too. The mushroom looks like an ear, isnt it? We called it Judas ear, because it sits on the same tree where Judas hang himself.

Enormous mushroom. This one is spread all over the fields like sheep. That is why its called Little sheep

The purple colour remind us of red cabbage and that is the name of the mushroom: Rodekoolzwam

UNBELIEVABLE (mycena)
