FICTIONAL STORY!!

To improve our writing skills and show the world how creative we are our class will be writing their very own fictional stories! They get to choose WHATEVER they want, they get to be as CREATIVE as they want! The following list at the only guidelines that need to be incorporated into the story: Characters: o Story must have characters that the story revolves around. There should be clear descriptions of who these characters are, what is happening to them and what they are feeling. Plot : o There should be a clear beginning, middle and end to the story. It should be told in sequential, clear, chronological order. The story should lead up to a clear climax. Conflict/Resolution: o What is the problem of the story? It may be internal or external but there should be a clear struggle that the character is going through with a clear resolution to that struggle. Setting: o Please create a clear and descriptive setting full of imagery and details! Use your senses taste, touch, smell, hearing, seeing Figurative Language: o Similes o Metaphors o Alliteration o Hyperboles Underline/highlight figurative language. There must be a minimum of two of each.

We will be holding a COMPETITION!! The best stories that follow the above guidelines, ideas clearly flow, and is the most creative will be win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!!
