January 25, 2012 Dear Parents, We are so glad that your child is a part of the Sparks ministry at Southern

Hills! God has blessed the Sparks ministry with volunteers who wonderfully share the love of Jesus with children. They are here week after week planting seeds of faith in the fertile soil of your childs heart. We are committed to maintaining a fun, safe, and welcoming environment in which your child may learn about Jesus love. We have seen tremendous growth in the childrens ministry during the past few months. We are busting at the seams in a few of our classrooms. The childrens ministry staff and church leadership reviewed several creative solutions to accommodate the growth. Beginning Wednesday, February 1st, we will move 2 year olds whose birthdays were on or after September 1st to Room 101 on the Little Sparks hall in the main building. A wall has been constructed to divide Room 102 into two classrooms. These rooms will become Room 102 and Room 103. Room 103 will become Room 104. Our nursery rooms will be based on a babys agility and will be divided into Cuddlers, Crawlers, Walkers, and Toddlers. As your child progresses in his or her ability to explore, let our check-in volunteers know and they will assign him or her to the appropriate room. Ratios of volunteers to babies have been established to maintain a fun and safe nursery environment. We will average a 1:2 ratio for Cuddlers, a 1:3 ratio for Crawlers and Walkers, and a 1:4 ratio for Toddlers and 2 year olds. Beginning Wednesday, February 1st the rooms will be reassigned as follows: Room 101 Room 102 Room 103 Room 104 Toddlers (2s whose birthdays were after Sept 1st) Cuddlers Crawlers Walkers
