1) INCIDENT THAT SHOWS LOYALTY: The Prisoner of Zenda is an interesting novel.

I choose this novel because it has many interesting incidents. One of the incidents that catch my eyes is the incident that portrays loyalty. This can be seen in the scene where Colonel Sapt and Fritz von Tarlenheim had to secretly make an offer to Rudolf Rassendyll to impersonate the King who had been drugged by his own brother Duke Michael. Both of these 2 loyal men, had to do so as they wanted to save the throne from going to Duke Michael. The incident stated above had shown that both Colonel Sapt and Fritz Von Tarlenheim had an unconditional loyalty to the King. This is because they dared to make such offer to a person like Rudolf Rassendyll which at the same time they knew nothing about him. However, due to the security of the country, they had made such choice as if the King did not attend the coronation day, the kingdom would be perished. All in all, I choose this incident because it leads us to great adventures throughout the story and importantly it shows the unconditional loyalty of the characters.

2) QUALITY THAT YOU ADMIRE Prisoner of Zenda is an action pack novel. There are a lot of adventurous incidents in the novel. That s why i choose this novel as it gives me excitement when reading it. Apart from this, i really admire the courage portrayed by the protagonist that is Rudolf Rassendyll. He is so brave that he would risk everything including his own life just for the sake of the king of Ruritania. This is proven in the incident where Rudolf Rassendyll fought fiercely with one of the famous six while trying to save the king. The incident occurred at the old castle where the king was kept in prison. Rassendyll in his mission to save the King was almost killed by Rupert of Hentzau. In this incident, Rassendyll managed to kill De Gautet by plunging his sword through De Gautet s heart. Rudolf Rassendyll was so brave that in the end he succeeded to save the King even though he was badly wounded. All in all, i take my hat off for Rassendyll s bravery as he had risk his own life just to save someone he merely knew.

3) A CHARACTER WHO HELPS ANOTHER TO WORK UP HIS/HER HARDSHIP Prisoner of zenda is a very daring and interesting story. That is the reason why i like reading this novel. Apart from this, i really admire Colonel Sapt. This is because he is a fine and noble man. He has put his own life at risk just to save his own King. In doing so, colonel Sapt has made an offer to Rudolf Rassendyll which is to impersonate the King during the coronation day. Colonel Sapt without any consent dares to make such offer to a person he simply knows for several days. Colonel Sapt has put his life at risk by trusting Rudolf Rassendyll. He gambles his own soul by trusting Rassendyll. This is because he is not guaranteed that Rassendyll would be loyal to him and the King. If Rassendyll is an untrustworthy person, Colonel Sapt will surely lose his head. Throughout the process of impersonation, Colonel Sapt has played a major role preparing Rudolf Rassendyll to be the real king. This shows that Colonel Sapt is really determined with his decision since he is the loyal servant to the King Rudolf the fifth as well as the Kingdom of Ruritania. In a nut shell, Colonel Sapt is a great man as he dares taking risky alternative in saving his beloved king and kingdom.
