Club will be holding a sign up day onFriday 24 February at 6pm at the Pony ClubRoom at the Showground. Please come andcomplete membership so you are eligible toride at the first twilight rally day in March.There will be no sign ups on the rally day.
Montana:
Bound Carwash will be at Burn'sService Station this Saturday 18 Februaryfrom 9am to noon(ish). Costs are: $15 for acarwash; or $25 for a wash and vacuum.Support the kids and get a clean car at thesame time (hint hint Nick Carne!!!)
Cricket:
the Canowindra Cricket Club'sAustralia Day Twenty20 cricket match waswon by the Cricket Club over the Tigers, butthe winner on the day was the McGrathFoundation, with over $700 raised. Otherwinners were Linda Guthrie taking two of theraffles, and Dave Sargent & Gunna Steven-son winning the others. A huge thank you toall the business sponsors and supporters &Kathy Davis, Barry Traves and GaryWhatman for being behind the counterserving, and receiving donations, & ChrisCuddy who provided the marquee.

School buses will take priority when a road atManildra is temporarily closed for two dayslater this month and early next month.Gumble Road at Cottons Bridge will be closedto through traffic from 8.30am to 3.45pm onWednesday 29 February 2012 and Thursday 1March 2012 to enable a geotechnical evalua-tion to be carried out.Cabonne Council has organised the closure toenable school buses to run at normal times toavoid any impact on student and their families.Boccobra Road will be available for emergencylocal traffic.Anyone wishing to discuss the temporary road

1 small red chilli, seeded and minced
1½ tbsp red wine vinegar
Salt500g nectarines, seeded, diced roughly1 red capsicum, diced roughly2 spring onions, chopped1/4 cup fresh mint, choppedCombine chilli, vinegar & a pinch of salt in abowl. For the past nine months photographer SteveMullarkey has been taking a series of photographs of the main street of Canowindra,mostly at dawn and dusk. He has processedthe images in Photoshop to get a specific style,the results of which are astounding, makingthis is one exhibition not to be missed.Steve is Northside Creative Photography Inc'sTraining and Development coordinator, thecommittee is a member of Federation of Camera Clubs NSW (FCC), and a non-profitorganization. The committee is organising anouting to Canowindra and surrounds the week-end of 24-25 March, as part of their 2012program.The exhibition opening will be held Saturday24 March at 7pm, and will be accompanied byfree wine tasting and nibbles.There will be a two course meal to follow at8pm, alternate serve at $40 per guest.Bookings for dinner is essential by phoning02 6344 2332.The exhibition will be on show until 31 May.

Rhonda does everything frombaby checks to four-year-old developmentalchecks. Developmental health checks accord-
ing to your baby’s personal health record,
commonly called the blue book, are at 2, 4 & 6months and the 12 & 18 months, 2, 3 &4 years. As well as physical development -social and emotional growth is also monitored.Parenting courses are also run from this ser-vice.
