Thanks for your reply! The Qur'an has many similarities to the Bible (or Tanahk), many places are nearly word-for-word. The old scrolls of Enoch were obviously copied into the Qur'an as well, as well as some other mythological writings that indicate people before Adam... Babylonian Mythology has people before Adam, the first two people ate fruit from a tree that gave them wisdom, the fallen ones of Genesis 6... even a great flood that saved only one man and his family and the animals... Also nobles take a baby from the river, just like Moses; so there were similar stories out there that were like the scriptures, but were twisted with multiple Gods, people before Adam and other interesting things. After the incident at the Tower of Babel many people of different tongues began writing these spoken stories into their languages and spinning them into unique stories of their own.
