operations eggs-perts: How to play


1. Students shuffle and place game cards in a pile (or in a can, how some like to play)! 2. player draws a card and solves the problem using the number line or egg manipulatives and math mats. 3. If player has that number on his or her gameboard, he or she marks it off with a plastic Easter egg half (or other marker) 4. First player to cover gameboard wins! *Use blank game cards and gameboard to differentiate for your students.

Measuring eggs-pert
1. Print eggs on cardstock, laminate, cut out. 2. provide students with eggs, recording sheet and units to measure each egg. I will be using pennies. You could also use Easter jelly beans, paperclips, pony beads etc. 3. Have students measure each egg and color an egg on the recording sheet to match. They record the measurement next to the egg.

1. Print on cardstock, laminate, cut out individual cards. 2. Students place all cards face down. 3. Player flips over two cards. If they are a match (both represent the same number), the player keeps the cards. If not, he or she flips the cards back over. 4. The game ends when all the cards are gone, and the winner has the most pairs.

1. Buy plastic Easter eggs. 2. Use a sharpie to program the eggs with numbers 1-8. 3. Fill each egg with letter tiles to spell a sight word you want the kids to practice. If you dont have tiles, print and cut out the letters I included on the next page. 4. Give children the included recording sheet and I Can page to complete the center!
