What is the purpose?

Confirmation
Purpose Statement:

Trinity’s Confirmation Leaders seek to

engage youth in active Christian
living and to lead our young people
to commit to the study of God’s
word, regular worship, active prayer,
selfless service and Christian
fellowship—for life.
Confirmation
Part of Principles:
The cry for more parent involvement
“Greater parent involvement was the
universal cry of the instructors. Many felt
that the often negative attitudes of their
students too often reflected the attitudes of
their parents….Too many parents seem to
feel that they have no responsibility in the
process. It’s up to the pastor and church to
get adolescents confirmed.”

Confirmation Student: This report form is intended to assist you in realizing the parts of worship, and how the entire

Servant Project Report Form
Dear Confirmation Student,
The purpose of the “Servant Component” of your confirmation program is to
offer an opportunity to put your faith in action. The lessons learned in serving
others cannot be learned in a book, or through observation. Serving is an act
of selflessness. Serving is humbling yourself, and giving of yourself in an
effort to bring the love, joy, hope and peace of Jesus Christ into the lives of
others. For that reason, we ask that in no way you receive any payment for
your service. You will have many opportunities to serve in many different ways
during your two years in our program. Our hope and prayer is that you will
continue to serve beyond the requirement, and that through your service, you
will be a witness to many, for many years to come!
