The Best Time To Travel
There are 2 seasons in Mauritius:
Summer: May to September.
Temperatures vary from 17C at night to
24C in the mid-afternoon. In between,
a pleasant period from September to
November with temperatures averaging
26C. Western and Northern regions are
warmer and drier than the East and the
South. The cyclone season generally
occurs between January to March,
bringing a lot of rain. Visitors should be
prepared to spend a few days indoors
during extra-heavy rains.
