HEAD TO HAITI
URBAN MISSIONARIES HEAD TO ANOTHER MISSION FIELD!
WHEN: October 22-29, 2012 WHERE: Port Au Prince, capital of Haiti OUR HOSTS: Foursquare Haiti OUR MISSION: To help Haitians in need, grow as a team and learn how to better serve the poor PROJECTS: Construction, childrens ministry, teaching, medical COST: Approx. $1,000 per person = $3,000
We- Juan, Tracy, and The Haitian people are still River are headed to Haiti on a recovering from the 29 with The Relief Bus staff. As urban missionaries with spent a lot of time with the poor and homeless on the streets of New York City. We are going to step way out of our comfort zone to do relief work in the devastated outskirts of Port Au Prince. 2010. We want to go and make a families just like ours. We also anticipate learning from our Haitian brothers and sisters what it means to have faith in the face of overwhelming poverty.

We will be serving in several different capacities depending on what the most pressing need is at the time. The Relief Bus team will most likely be doing construction work, working with orphans, doing medical work and ministering in other ways. Foursquare Haiti is focused on helping Haitians become selfsufficient not dependent. They have wonderful projects training Haitians to run their own tilapia farms, poultry farms, and hydroponic vegetable farms.
