Harry Potter-

Similarly to Twilight, Harry Potter was funded by a major company. This meant that they were able to spend millions of pounds on exhibition and distribution. The above are just some of the examples of what they did. Also like Twilight, Harry Potter had the advantage of being based on a worldrenowned book series. This meant that it was not as much of a risk for the Company funding it (Warner Bros.) because it already had a niche market to concentrate on. This also meant that no matter how good the film is it already has a solid fan base who will definitely go to see the film.

Bronson-

Unlike the above Bronson had no audience who would already go to see it. This is the risk most smaller production companies take when they buy a film. An advantage that it did have was the fact it was a true story. This meant that people could decide before they actually went to see the film or trailer whether it was something they would enjoy. This helped massively in the exhibition and distribution process because it meant the company funding it would not have to spend money it did not have in hopes that the film would end up being a success.
