November 2010 Project duration: 6 days (June 2011) Project summary: Training course is aimed at youth workers and organizations, who want to host or send volunteers under the Youth in Action programme to do European Voluntary Service (EVS). The training course helps youth workers to understand better the concept of non-formal education and volunteering. Participants will learn about the principles of EVS, the practices and responsibilities of sending or hosting a volunteer. They have chance to exchange experiences and find future partners for their projects. Partners: 4 EU countries + 5 SEE countries Participants: 2 per country (1 female +1 male) Participant profiles: Actively involved in youth field Interested in non-formal education and volunteering Hosting, sending or coordinating EVS volunteers or plan to do it Motivated to fully participate in this training course Dont have much experience with Youth in Action programme (especially EVS) Will carry out future activities sending or hosting EVS volunteers
