The Albany County Sheriffs Office arrested 20 year old Cody M. Lassonde of 5179 Gardner Road Altamont NY charging him with Burglary in the Second Degree a class C Felony, Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Resisting Arrest, a class A Misdemeanor. The complaint alleges at approximately 4:20 am on June 10, 2012 Lassonde forced his way into a residence at Veeder Road in the Town of Guilderland. The homeowner did not know Lassonde and demanded he leave the residence. Lassonde refused to leave and demanded money from the homeowner saying it was owed to him for delivering two kegs of beer to the residence. No beer had ever been delivered nor had the homeowner ever ordered any. The homeowner armed himself with a long gun and called 911. Upon the arrival of Sheriffs Units Lassonde was outside the residence. Lassonde who appeared highly intoxicated and possibly under the influence of drugs resisted his arrest and ultimately was tased by Deputies and taken into custody without further incident. Lassonde was arraigned in the Town of Guilderland Justice Court before the Honorable Denise Randall and remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,500.00 cash or bond. Lassonde is scheduled to appear on Monday June 11, 2012 at 5:30pm for a preliminary hearing. #
