Diagnosis: Apocrine hidrocystoma

Comment Benign cystic tumor of apocrine gland origin. Presents as a solitary, soft, dome-shaped, translucent papule or nodule on the eyelids, especially the inner canthus. Histologically, apocrine hidrocystoma shows unilocular or multilocular cystic spaces within the dermis lined by apocrine-type secretory epithelium. The innermost layer of the wall is composed of a single layer of cuboidal or columnar cells with basal nuclei. The outer layer is composed of spindled myoepithelial cells.
