History Of TempleUVUP:
We are a United Temple in Ohio Since Dec 18, 2003with members everywhere for freedom of beliefs andspirituality. Our main belief is that all religions have theirbasis in truth, and by trying to understand each other wemay come closer to the real truth. Our name TempleUnited Vampyrian Unitarian Pagan is the basis for whatwe believe as our spirituality. We want the community tobe united in its knowledge of what Vampyrism is and whatwe are capable of as Vampyr and Human. We also believeVampyres are spiritual beings and are very Eclectic (orUnitarian) in our belief. We believe in Vampyrism as a part of our lives aswell as our spirituality and what makes Vampyrism(Vampyrian) a Spiritual condition is that though we arehumans OUR SPIRIT OR SOUL is a Vampyr soul. Ibelieve Layla is our dark mother; my personal belief isthat Vampyrism is a product of her as well as the FallenAngels, Demons, or Gods who decided to come to thisrealm mated with human females who bore Vampyrchildren or Dhampir Born, not turned, and we possess aVampyr soul.I know a lot of Vampyres like vampire church, andthey get a lot of respect. They have been around for along while, and I like what I have heard(http://www.vampire-church.com). The only thing I do not
get about them is why they call themselves vampirechurch, if they are not even a church and want to denythe connection between Vampyrism and Spirituality. Thatis partially why I started Temple United VampyrianUnitarian Pagan. It is unfortunate that too many peoplesee do not want to associate with religions andSpirituality because of certain churches and cults givingReligions and Spiritualities a bad name.As long as we can learn to disagree with out pushingbeliefs on others and fighting about them we should beable to openly include or Spirituality into our Vampyrismas we are very Spiritual creatures. At first it was just agroup to talk about Vampyrism, Spirituality, and how theycan be connected. Some months later, I was focused onbecoming a House, seeing as the Temple was growingpretty well at the time.A year and a day passed: we had several of the samemembers we had from the beginning, and according toMichelle Belanger and the Sanguinarium at the time, wewere a House. The Temple or Coven really did not cometoo much into play until a year or so later. We then wherefocused on becoming an official church and would like tosee Vampyrianism (Vampyrism) recognized as an officialreligion; that is my primary goal. TempleUVUP is my wholelife and my baby. I look forward to the future ofTempleUVUP, our growth, and what all we are able toaccomplish. I have met too many people (or Covens) who
want to say, if you do not follow their beliefs, then youeither are not a Vampyr (T.O.V.), or you are. But I am farfrom being that stuck up. As I am a Unitarian VampyrianPagan, I believe that most religions have truth to them aswell, as misunderstandings.I have been finding the Vampyrian faith for lastseveral years; though a very old faith in reality. I keepmy mind open, as I am continually finding new things to betrue. If I was like those Covens, I might as well still beChristian. This is what too many religions seem to beanymore, except for most Pagan and UniversalUnitarianism.Eclectic Spirituality seems to be the most popularbelief anymore as most people cannot just embrace onewell known faith so they find there own which is exactlywhat we support. With us Vampyres being half human, as well asVampyr or (Demon/Fallen Angel) it reminds me of theDhampir or the Nephilim. Born human and Vampyr as weare. There is NO absolute evil and NO absolute good.NOTHING is perfect, and NO male Deity can createeverything, or be perfect. No one is without fault.Creation is a Female attribute, NOT Male. It is sad tosee even the Egyptians and Romans thought that to betrue. I therefore cannot believe such faiths or keep
