Whole Sport Plan grow, sustain and excel
Grow, sustain and excel is the rfu tag line in there whole sport plane. And there aim is to, make there sport become more popular, and to too keep those people interested in playing rugby. And to make those people that play better. A way in which that they plan on doing this is to introduce touch rugby for people that still want to play rugby but dont like the contact. Also it opens it up to women where they are able to play alongside men. Preliminary Award and is currently working on the areas identified in its Equity Action Plan. The RFU and the RFUW need to ensure that its professional and volunteer workforce are educated in matters of diversity and ensure that the principles of equity and equality are embedded in all the work that it does. The resulting RFU and the RFUW work programmes and work undertaken with their partners will pave the way for addressing the needs of under-represented groups and engaging them in Rugby Union over the long term.
