Judge Frees Immigrant Arrested While Delivering Pizza To Army Base

Pablo Villavicencio was turned over to ICE on June 1 after a guard at Fort Hamilton declined to accept his identification card and ran a background check, discovering a pending 2010 deportation order.

A federal judge has ordered the release of an Ecuadorian immigrant detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials last month and held for deportation after he delivered a pizza to a U.S. Army installation in Brooklyn.
