Creek crawling to Faversham

Rubbish,’ said my wife, Christobel, who had read that visiting Faversham was hard and was goading me.
As we know only too well, Faversham sits inland from the East Swale on the North Kent coast and its creek is well buoyed. Like any ditch-crawling, it can be safely navigated as long as you use caution. Luckily, our clinker-built Finesse 24, is long-keeled with a centre plate and has moderate draft – ideal for this sort of cruising.
