    YOUR HEART’S DESIRE

    thought I would share a wedding gift I made for my nephew, Michael, and his new wife, Emily. (I have included a wedding photo of Emily and Michael.) I made the blanket from the ‘Your Heart’s Desire’ KAL blanket by Lynne Rowe (issues 179-184). I absolutely love the finished project. I opted for brighter and bolder colours than the orignal pattern. I adored the heart motif, and felt that this was the perfect added touch for a wedding blanket. The two knitted teddies are from The Knittables pattern and I worked out the kilt pattern into the same kilt that Michael wore
