quinoa animal crackers

Buttery, tangy cheese crackers, with red and black quinoa for texture, looks + goodness.

• 2 tbsp red or black quinoa, uncooked
• 30g / 1.1oz unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
• 85g / 3oz cheddar cheese, grated
• 30g / 1.1oz parmesan cheese, grated
• 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup plain flour
• 1 tbsp cold water

1. Preheat oven to 150°C / 300°F / Gas Mark 2.

2. In a medium bowl, mix the quinoa, butter, cheese and spices together until you have a cheesy butter spread.

3. Add the flour. Mix with a fork to break up the butter
