Easing of material shortages

The Construction Leadership Council (CLC), a committee that works between government and industry to support building works across the UK, has announced a significant improvement in the shortages of many structural materials, suggesting self-builders and renovators should begin to see better prices and quicker results in the coming months. In its recent Construction Product Availability Statement, the CLC reported that with just a few exceptions, general product availability, pricing and lead times have improved across all categories and regions of the country.
