    André Aciman (Alejandría, Egipto, 1951), se trasladó a vivir a Italia con sus padres a los quince años y más tarde se afincaron en Nueva York.       Yet another one of its kind. Riding on the same train as almost all other novels in the LGBT category. Really nothing ingenious here.

      Oh this book!! The movie is amazing and beautiful so I needed to check out the book. It is slightly different than the movie, it is one of those rare occasions where the movie is better than the original book in my opinion. That is also because the film is near perfect so the bar is high. Call me by your name, the book, is also beautiful but more wicked and weird. There are some wonderful paragraphs in it and the end hit me hard, I cried. Then started to listen to it all again immediately. Armie Hammer does an excellent job narrating it. Highly recommended!

      For a 17 year old at his family's summer house in Italy "the pain, the stoking the thrill of someone new, the promise of so much bliss hovering a fingertip away" begins with a guest, one of the "young academics" his parents host each summer, a type of writer's retreat. Oliver is 7 years older than Elio. They have a mutual attraction but it takes time to acknowledge. Then they must live their lives as if I hadn't happened. Very well written.

      Pretty good book! Great writing. I don’t think the intention is to romanticize the relationship between the two main characters. So if you don’t do that it isn’t terrible ? I wouldn’t see this as a love story, honestly.

      The reader is amazing, the writing is so poetic that I can feel each word. The last sentence of the book almost made me cry. Loved it all.
