About this audiobook

In Book 4 of the Northern Intrigue series, Thea Glenheim's new next-door neighbor turns her small town upside down.

Trace Della's handsome, successful, and committed to helping high-risk boys. And he's changing things in ways a lot of people don't like. One in particular.

Bad things begin happening on Trace's property, and troublemakers compete with each other to stop him in his mission to provide a place for kids who need help.

All the while Thea is caught in the middle-between the people she's known all her life and this new man in town. He's a mover and shaker. She's a quiet piano teacher. Yet opposites attract, don't they?

But when and how will the nastiness end? And will it end before someone gets hurt? Badly?

Lyn Cote

Lyn Cote is one lucky woman. She married her real-life hero over 20 years ago and was blessed with two children, a son and daughter, who now have gifted her with an empty nest! She also has been blessed with a variety of alley cats over the years: Professor, Sheba, Waffles and Shadow. Unfortunately, cats don't live as long as people do, and each in turn has left her side. The last one, Shadow, her lovely Siamese orphan, passed away in 2002. But recently, Lyn's daughter called to say that she has continued the family tradition and has just taken in her first stray kitten-Irving. Lyn is very happy to welcome her first grand-kitty into the Cote family and is planning to visit him soon! Lyn loves having guests, but can't quite accomplish the perfect "House Beautiful" look. She does have her standards though. If there is a basket of laundry in the living room, it is always clean. She never allows dirty laundry in her living room! So the door is always open to company, just push the books off the couch and have a seat! Finally, Lyn has been blessed with the career she's wanted since she was a child. She's a writer. So you see Lyn has all she ever wanted: true love, family, understanding friends, a happy home and a rewarding career. She's one lucky woman, and she knows it!

Spring's Storm by Lyn CoteHave read other works from this author and have enjoyed the reads. This one starts out with Thea, she's got a lot on her plate. She's not only a lady who teaches others the piano in her house but she tends to her grandmother who'd suffered a stroke and is in local nursing center and she visits and brings treats often and she runs family fishing cabins during the summer. On top of that Trace, the next door neighbor bought the boys camp and will be starting it up again. On top of that it's a small town and everybody relies on info about him from her.A student comes and her mother has a sick dog and drops the 2 year old twins off at her house also. Within a short time the whole house is in chaos and that's when the new neighbor shows up. It gets worse over time. Her step sister has run away, she meets up with her father and finds out truth about why they sold their house...some towns people don't want anything to do with the camp and have sabotaged events and his truck and poisons her dog, never mind the whole kitchen and supplies. What I really like about this book are the ways Trace encompasses the townsfolk and talks to them at church using passages from the bible to help. There are lots of secrets-their upbringing, religious training and how much community does matter. It's so realistic with what's going on in today's world.Love how community is there to help when it's needed especially the auction and the support it gives to the boys camp. Love interjections of faith throughout this book and praying to the Lord.Misunderstandings draw them apart and she realizes who is the culprit that is harming them all...love meaning of title in this book. Author bio and other works included at the end along with an excerpt from another book.Received this review copy from the author and this is my honest opinion.
