- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love Emma! I've been following whispersred On YouTube for years and I can always count on her voice and ASMR techniques feeling the stress drain out of my body. I was very interested to hear her backstory and also some techniques and tips on ASMR. And also some of the research and science that explains why I feel the way I do. I never thought of using ASMR as a meditation Technique, but thinking back on it it's always been the one thing that makes me feel extremely present in my body in the here and now. I will listen to this audiobook again and again I'd recommend it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Eu achei bom. Falou muitas coisas muito interessantes e úteis, que concerteza utilizarei. Fora que a voz dela sussurrando já é um próprio ASMR, muito bom de ouvir. A parte ruim foram os últimos capítulos, em que ela foca bastante no conceito que segundo ela, nós apenas de vivermos e ter meio uma consciência mindfulness e fazer alguns sons e toques propopositais em nós mesmos. Pra mim isso é só mindfulness mesmo, até porque os efeitos nem de longe se comparam, não é a mesma coisa ouvir e ver um asmr e nós só cheirarmos chá em quanto tomamos e prestamos atenção no som da xícara ou algo do tipo, achei muito viajado isso.
Em resumo, eu recomendo muito, mas eu pularia os últimos capítulos, são irrelevantes, para mim pelo menos. - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Life is stressful. I know that's not breaking news. However the last few weeks have been stressful in an entirely different way. Stress can be harmful to your health, so learning how to deal with it in a healthy way is important. Everybody deals with stress differently, and Autonomous Sensory Meridian response (ASMR) is one of those ways. Before I began listening to this audiobook, I had no idea what ASMR was or how it helps with stress. But in fact, I did know. I just didn't know that the sensation had a name. And I'd actually experienced the sensation before. My daughter does know what it is, and when I mentioned I was listening to a book about ASMR, she showed me a bunch of YouTube videos that were dedicated to different ASMR sounds.Unwind Your Mind is great source to learn about ASMR. Emma WhispersRed does a fantastic job in explaining what ASMR is and its history. Listening to the audiobook was a great way to experience ASMR firsthand. Emma has a very soothing voice that almost put me to sleep because it was so relaxing. Emma explains how you can use certain techniques to apply ASMR to your everyday life.I found this book to be fascinating. Unwinding my mind is something that is hard for me to do at times, and I intend to put some of Emma's suggestions to use.
