      This book took a really dark turn. So, Torin lost his wife and unborn baby in a violent way and is out for revenge against the man who killed them. His plan includes that man’s daughter who was used to help blackmail him. Only she was also a pawn in her father’s ugly game. The plot twist wasn’t really that surprising or exciting and there was also no real chemistry. Torin treated this girl like crap and then all of a sudden did a complete 360. The heat factor on this book is about a two… no real love scenes until the end of the book so there was nothing but violence and foul language to hold up the story until then. The first book in this series that I read was actually book #2 Abe and I liked that one better. Here’s hoping the next book is much better.
