      I tried. I really really tried. It’s a decent book, but I couldn’t get past the whole plot and the female main character bothered me too much for me to give more stars. I will still read more by the author because the writing was good and interesting concepts with the flashbacks. I just could not get over the trope of her fighting for a wedding to a guy she clearly never trusted and not having a backbone to stand up for herself.

      I didn't even make it to chapter 2 because of an Impossible to ignore issue with audiobook. The narrators voice doesn't fit the story. The main character is young bride to be but the narrator sounds 40 or older and isn't great to start with. I will try reading the book instead.

      Heroine is really really immature. I really hated her. And the flashbacks är so odd. Several but of the same past 12 hours

      This particular book would have been a lot better if it would have been told thru different POV’s having the perspective of the men. very predictable plot. Maybe if you’re reading the rather the audio, Lia doesn’t come across so superficial and whiny.
