    Kate Winters, author of the popular mystery series The Masters, finds herself in a bit of a predicament-she doesn't seem to be able to write any longer.     Leaving behind the Dallas heat-and her girlfriend, Robin-Kate retreats to the high mountain desert and soon finds herself surrounded by Brenda's eccentric friends and artists. But it's the local sheriff, Lee Foxx, who soon grabs her attention.       I will listen to any book narrated by Abby Craden, good or bad, as I love her voice and narration. Although most are enjoyable stories, including this one.

      Charming moonlit story! Beautifully developed characters in a romantic setting.

      Loved the book again. I just wish the books would end with a little more of them together instead of just “…and they live happily ever after”

      I have read all of Gerri Hills books and I love them. Now I am going back and listening to the audio version. What a treat. Abby Craden is my favorite narrator so its a double treat. I highly recommend this book and all of Hills books.

      Another great book, although different from the other books from this author. Romance with great writing, took me right to the places it described so vividly.

      Not Gerri Hill's usual quality. I listened to this shortly after Sierra City, the latter which i enjoyed very much. This book followed almost the same structure, with half of the appeal. It felt formulaic, with a weakish plot and clichéd characters . Abby Craden did her usual fine job though.
